Programme
Ķengarags Parade
1.09. 14:00, TBC | Free (SOLD OUT)
Here in Riga, in a seemingly unexpected place, a carefully crafted performance, perfected through time and continued
from generation to generation, is happening non-stop. The everyday and the performative are inseparable and merge into each other. Constant movement alternates with an all encompassing stillness, day with night, water with earth, youth with maturity, the accidental with the planned, nature with man. And the question remains unanswered: what is staged and what is not?
The parade will take place regardless of the weather conditions and will include a picninc, close proximity to the water, and lounging on the greens, so audience is encouraged to make sure they have everything they need for such activities. The route is approximately 3 km long.
