The Nutcracker: Vegetable Ballet

Fairy ballet for garlic, ginger, eggplant, six walnuts and one rat. Iconic music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Arcangelo Corelli. Nutcracker. The Vegetable Ballet develops a novel choreography based on the potential of plant-based dancers, exploring both traditional theater forms and the possibilities of puppetry.

ACCESSIBILITY
There is a parking space adapted for people with mobility impairments on Kr. Barona street 16 near the Puppet theatre. Automatic door at the entrance. You can use the lift to get to the 2nd floor. People with mobility impairments are requested to arrive at least 15 minutes earlier before the performance. Semi-custom facilities are also available in the building.

About artists

BORSCH company appeared during work on Vegetable Ballet Nutcracker. It is the first collaboration between Daria Gosteva, scenographer and director, and Anastázie Dobrodinská, actress and dancer, who met at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theater at the Theater Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague/DAMU, where they both currently study.
