Celebration of Accessibility

Various artists

For the fifth year, the Festival Homo Novus is paying special attention to accessibility for people with disabilities and is organizing a celebration of accessibility. This year’s festival programme includes several events, such as the Portuguese dance concert SYN.Tropia, created to be accessible to both hearing-impaired and hearing audiences, as well as the open workshop Miracles together with Lithuanian choreographer and inclusive theatre artist Birutė Banevičiūtė, in collaboration with children and local artists. There will also be talks about disability – its visible and invisible aspects. Like always, the night will be wrapped up with a party where everyone is welcome to celebrate diversity together with fun dances, hanging out and other artsy activities.
